Here is another swap from our meeting Saturday. I love this set but haven't had much chance to play with it. I love it though because while it is a simple set to use it makes such a nice card for a guy and those seem to be the hardest cards to make.
The background is Real Red which was rolled through the Big Shot on an inked Harlequin Texture Plate - fun technique and really nice results. The Old Olive layer was run through the Distress Texture Plate without inking the texture plate first. The tree and wolf stamp were stamped in Chocolate Chip on Whisper white after rolling the background with Close to Cocoa. The sun was created by punching a 1-1/4" circle from a sticky note placed on the Whisper White before rolling the brayer of Close to Cocoa over it. Then sponge on Summer Sun. The sentiment was made using Kraft Cardstock and stamping with Chocolate Chip, sponging the edges with Chocolate Chip and tying with Black hemp. This is really an easy card, it just has a few steps to it. Great for a birthday, Father's Day, Get Well, Thinking of You....
