These are my December birthday cards. Since it's December of course they are covered with GLITTER! These are simple and fun to make. Cardstock is Confetti White and So Saffron for the base and background papers. To make these cute flowers, which I have been seeing everywhere, I used my circle Stampin' Up! punches and punched out various sizes of circles. Then using my little keychain Cutter Tool from Stampin' Up I distressed the edges
of each circle very well. I inked the edges in a similar color to each color cardstock then dabbed a little Tombow Multi Liquid Glue from Stampin' Up! and sprinkled chunky glitter over it. Stacked them up again using the Tombow Glue and voila, pretty sparkly flower! I used the twill Chocolate Chip ribbon, which is now retired, because it was near me and the 1/4" Chocolate Chip grosgrain was not. This is great ribbon and ties into a bow so nicely!
I did emboss the background using a Cuttlebug folder, Dotted Swiss, since I am all about the spots and dots. It went though my Big Shot like a dream! Any dies and folders can be used with our Big Shot, how cool is that! One machine does it all...love my Big Shot!
The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations, stamped in Chocolate chip ink on Confetti White paper and framed with Chocolate Chip cardstock both punched from Stampin' Up! oval punches.
For the three flower card I used the same papers and idea and used 5/8" Certainly Celery ribbon at the base and stacked the fowers about it. These are so pretty and sparkly in real life. I will have to use these flowers on a scrap book page...very fun!
OK off to work on my Christmas things now. Have a great evening!
