Stampin' Up! has given us a sneek peek and sneak order, as demos, for a few of the new catalog items that will be showcased in the upcoming Fall/Winter Idea Book. Using the Bella Rose Designer Series paper, I made a cute little ATC box, which I saw on tvweekly and have made about ten of so far. They work up quickly and are just so darn cute!
These are called ATC boxes because they are just the size to hold an ATC card, but since I don't do ATC's I will do something else with mine. I can think of a million things to put in it and ways to decorate it.
The inside is a little accordian file to which little tabs can be attached on the folders or notches cut out from the center of the folder pages for a diffrerent look, and you could also make card inserts with tabs showcasing pictures or quotes, advice for brides, mother's-to-be could use tabbed card inserts for notes about new baby as they change, Bible verses to learn, a weeks worth of things to do, favorite recipes as a gift, you get the idea. I just love how small and dainty the box is. Do you want to know what I used for the box? Do you want to know how handy coasters are? Yep! I used coasters to make the "parts" for this box. Then covered with DSP and added ribbon. The rose on the front was cut from scraps left over. I love this pattern because it reminds me of one of my very favorite stamps sets, now retired, Roses in Winter. I have made more of these boxes in other colors and there is one more Bella Rose made with the Kiwi paper. I think I am going to love these new In Colors!
I made an ATC box from our existing papers and think it turned out very well. There is a larger version of this box as well and both are shown below. The larger box easily holds standard greeting cards.

Hello Martha,
Can you tell me what size the box is on this item and where to get one or a pattern?
I totally love this and would like to make one for my sweet sister-in-law (sister by
another mother, but better) Would even be willing to buy an unassembled one.
Thanks
Linda
